The leg lock mechanism has been changed to a “Haraichi Lock” type that can be operated by pressing a button. The leg pipes have a new cross pattern to increase strength.
The included strap is detachable and can be used as a weight to carry a camera bag.
The included case has a new structure that can be folded up small when shooting and can be used as a work seat when unfolded.
Comes standard with the high-precision 3-way pan head “SH-806NS” that is common to the 8 series and 7 series. The high-precision construction prevents the composition from shifting when fixed with a link tightening system, achieving high precision. In addition, the vertical pan handle has been set short, so it can be stored in the included case without removing the handle.
