Equipped with a 35 mm full-size CMOS sensor with approximately 30.4 megapixels and the DIGIC 6+ imaging engine, the camera has a normal ISO sensitivity of ISO 100 to 32 000.
The newly developed mirror vibration control system enables high-speed continuous shooting at up to approximately 7 frames per second. The camera supports DPRAW shooting, which adds dual-pixel information from the image sensor to the RAW image, and allows fine image processing such as resolution correction after shooting through Canon’s unique RAW development software (free of charge).
