A digital SLR camera with a movable LCD monitor and a compact body weighing approximately 449g. Continuous shooting at up to approximately 5.0 frames per second is possible while looking through the optical viewfinder.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF achieves high-speed AF of approximately 0.03 seconds, and is equipped with a CMOS sensor with approximately 24.1 effective pixels and the DIGIC 8 image engine.
The standard zoom lens EF-S18-55mm F4-5.6 IS STM and the telephoto zoom lens EF-S55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM are included.
